"If you expect your insurance company to actually investigate a claim and communicate with you, look elsewhere. I left State Farm after they completely mishandled a wreck where another driver ran a stop sign causing me to get into a accident.
Zero Investigation: State Farm paid out the at-fault party within 48 hours before even looking at the traffic cam footage.
Completely Contradictory: Once I finally got them the video, they explicitly told me I was 100% not at fault. Six months later, with zero communication or warning, they quietly changed it to 60% my fault for "failing to look for hazardous objects."
Archaic Technology: Trying to submit evidence is a joke. They refuse to accept Google Drive, OneDrive/Outlook, or YouTube links, making it nearly impossible to send large, high-quality video files of the accident.
Ghosted by Local Office: My local agent's office was impossible to reach. If you call past 12:00 PM, good luck. Voicemails go completely unanswered.
They will take your premiums every month, but the second you actually need them to do their jobs, they will fail you, ignore you, and fold to the other insurance."
