"EDIT 4/29: These guys are a bunch of crooks. In February, I called and asked them to change my agent. I gave them the new agent’s name, and they told me it would get processed in 2-3 business days. Two weeks after that, I checked my Statefarm app and Peyton Pettus was still my agent. After doing nothing for me, and lying to me multiple times, it was clear to me they didn’t want my business. AND YET, they would not change my agent for me. Clearly another indication of how unprofessionally they run their offices. Peyton, you and your employees need to do better. No class or professionalism to be found here. TLDR: Consumer beware: Go to another State Farm agent. Peyton Pettus’s office is run both poorly and dishonestly. Every time I have tried to contact someone, it has been a mission. If there is any issue on there end, then they will not email you. They will try to keep all communication through phone calls so you have no documentation of how they’ve been handling your issue and no record of any promises made. I need to call 3-4 times across multiple times and days to get in contact with the people handling my issue. They call you back 10% of the time that they say they will call back. Full issue: I live in Miami. My brother has lived in Boston for 2.5 years. In July 2024, my brother was added to my policy without my knowledge or acceptance. No communication was made to me. I didn’t notice until 3 months later. I was overcharged $900 over 3 months. I called in on 11/12 to get my rate corrected and to request a refund. They requested proof that my brother lived out of state - I provided the proof and never received a response. I had to call back 11/13 and 11/15 to try and get in contact with anyone to follow up. I was informed that the rate would be corrected and that I could only get refunded (I never got any refund) for 1 of the overcharged months because I had to raise any billing issues within 30 days. 11/19 and 11/20, I was told by Max (“office manager”) that my autopay would be cancelled and the office would manually charge my card on file the correct amount. 11/28, I received an email that my balance was past due and my policy would be cancelled. 12/2, 12/3, and 12/4, I was in contact with the office and Max regarding the notice I received. I noticed the autopay had already been cancelled by their office, and they confirmed multiple times that my card would be manually charged. They assured me that my policy would not get cancelled. 1/15/2024, I noticed my policy was cancelled and called the office looking for Max. I was told he was busy and that I would get a call or email back from him that day. I never got a call back, and they don’t write emails because they don’t want you to have any record of the conversation. 1/16, I emailed the office requesting help. Nobody emailed back because they don’t want you to have any record of the conversation. 1/17, I called again and got in contact with Max. He confirmed my policy was cancelled due to non-payment. Magically, he forgot our conversation in which he told me he would cancel my autopay and automatically draft the correct amount for payment. He said our last contact was on 11/19 or 11/20. Conveniently, there was no record of our conversation because they do not put anything in writing to avoid responsibility. Phone records will show how many times I contacted the office following the 11/19 and 11/20 calls. Also he would never let me speak with his supervisor or another office manager. This office is extremely unprofessional and dishonest. They dodge your calls and avoid putting anything in writing to avoid taking responsibility. And after not putting anything in writing, they conveniently and magically forget any conversation that helps them. Do yourself a favor and work with another agent or go to a different insurance company. This office is fine when there’s no issue, but when they need to resolve something, you can be assured they will do everything they can to avoid helping you. I am appalled by the terrible customer service. Y’all need to do better."

"These guys are a bunch of crooks. I've never missed a payment and I have bank records for every payment. BEWARE. They sent me a cancelation letter for February, Accepted $1500+ in payments for March (without even mentioning a cancelation notice), issued another cancelation notice in March after my payment, and had both cancelation notices delivered the same day on March 27th. These guys are a bunch of crooks. I'm not sure where my premiums have been going, but I have records of them all. Supposedly, I stayed a month ahead. No worries: attorneys will get to the bottom of this. BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE. MY BANK STATEMENT DONT LIE THOUGH."

"I am going through one of the hardest times of my life right now. I lost most of my belongings and home and navigating through this has been impossible dealing with corporate HOWEVER... dealing with Seth directly from Paytons office has become a silver lining.
